New Homes Program For Builders

New Homes Program

For Builders

The New Homes Program offers builders more than just a rebate, with:

  • free third-party airtightness testing;
  • energy code compliance verification and optimization analysis;
  • site signage and cooperative advertising opportunities;
  • mortgage insurance premium refunds payable to your customers with insured mortgages; and
  • energy reports and benchmarking tools to measure your progress toward higher levels of performance.

Performance Path

$2,000 to $15,000 Rebate

  • Work with a certified energy consultant at no cost
  • Use energy modelling software to evaluate options and their impacts
  • Earn up to $15,000 in performance-based rebates
  • Get EnerGuide labels and energy use reports from Natural Resources Canada for your customer
  • Receive official certification for your project from Efficiency Manitoba

REBATES FOR BUILDERS

Our New Homes Program has been designed to align with the published building code wherever possible. We use the same language, measurements, and classifications to ensure consistency between the building code and our program requirements, making it easier for builders to participate in our program and prepare for the future adoption of higher energy performance tiers.

Your rebate is based on two factors:

  • Whether the conditioned volume of the home is greater than or less than 300 m³;
  • The final energy performance % improvement.

how your rebate is calculated

You can download the digital version here.

Energy Efficiency Assessments

Energy Efficiency Assessments

Industrial, commercial and agricultural facility assessments that show you how to save energy (and money!)

An Energy Efficiency Assessment is the easiest business decision you’ll ever make. If your facility is heavily involved in processing and uses over 500,000 kWh of electric energy per year, you could benefit from this service that costs nothing and can save you a lot!

Understand & Improve Your Energy Usage

By completing an assessment, together we’ll clearly outline how to improve your business’s energy efficiency while reducing monthly bills. We will identify the programs and incentives that are available to you and provide most value for your business.

  • Analyze your current energy consumption patterns
  • Walk-through your site and identify major energy inefficiencies
  • Breakdown your current energy usage
  • Identify energy savings and any relevant incentives that are available to you

Participating is Simple!

  1. ANSWER A FEW QUESTIONS

    Complete the online Energy Efficiency Assessment questionnaire so we can learn more about your facility.

  2. PLAN SITE VISIT

    We’ll review your questionnaire, and reach out to you with questions we have. If your facility qualifies, we’ll plan an in-person site visit and assessment.

  3. REAP THE BENEFITS

    After the site visit, we’ll guide you towards the programs and incentives we think are the best fits for your facility. We’ll give you all the information you need to start applying and saving!

Appliance Recycling Program

RECYCLE. GET A REBATE. FEEL GREAT.

The Appliance Recycling Program offers in-home pick-up of your old working fridge and/or freezer, and we’ll give you a $30 rebate for each one you recycle. Not only will you save money on your energy bills, but you will feel good knowing your appliance is being recycled responsibly.

APPLIANCES WE ACCEPT

We accept up to three working full-sized fridges and/or freezers per household, and we’ll give you $30 for each qualifying fridge and/or freezer we pick up.

When you recycle an eligible full-sized fridge and/or freezer, we can also take your working dehumidifier, window air conditioner, undersized (bar-sized) fridge, and/or undersized freezer. These appliances aren’t eligible for a rebate, but we’ll take them and recycle them for you for free!

Our trusted service provider, PureSphera Recovery and Recycling will pick up your appliance and make sure it’s recycled in an environmentally-friendly way.

Find out if your appliance qualifies below
