Please read these Terms and Conditions for Efficiency Manitoba’s virtual energy review. By using this site and virtual energy review tool, you agree to the Terms and Conditions set out below. If you do not agree to any of these Terms and Conditions, please exit immediately and do not use the virtual energy review.
1.1 You agree to access the virtual energy review for your own personal use.
1.2 This virtual energy review estimates the energy consumption of your house. It is not meant to replace a full house inspection or home energy audit. We make no warranty, expressed or implied, on the energy consumption figures or energy efficiency recommendations included in this evaluation. Actual energy consumption and costs depend on many factors beyond the capability of the software.
1.3 Efficiency Manitoba reserves the right to modify, alter, remove any user, or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice, and you agree to be bound by such modifications, alterations, and updates.
1.4 You agree to receive electronic communications related to the estimates and recommendations from your virtual energy review.
1.5 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Manitoba and the applicable laws of Canada without regard to Manitoba or federal Canadian law governing conflicts of law, even if one or more of the parties to these Terms and Conditions is resident of or domiciled in any other province or country. The parties hereby irrevocably attorn to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Queen’s Bench of Manitoba, Winnipeg Centre.
2.0 Personal information is being collected under the authority of Efficiency Manitoba and The Efficiency Manitoba Act and is subject to the provisions of the Manitoba Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. The purpose is to provide incentives to customers for installing energy-efficiency products and to acquire information to calculate energy savings. Other uses and disclosures may be to participating suppliers, Public Utilities Board, external auditors, government entities, and Efficiency Manitoba officials. If you have any questions about the collection of information, contact Efficiency Manitoba at 1-204-944-8181.
2.1 For certain features of the virtual energy review, you will need to first complete a registration and create login credentials. Registration and access of such features are optional and voluntary. As and when applicable, you are solely responsible for using and maintaining the confidentiality of any such credentials (such as identification number, password, or any other access code) that may be required for you to access and/or use that part of the website.
2.2 If you provide us with your email address(es) and/or mobile phone number(s), we would collect such information so that we may reply to you. Please be aware that any sensitive information (such as sensitive personal information) should not be sent via email, SMS/MMS messaging, or over the internet. We do not ask you for personal information via email except when in response to inquiry from you. If you receive any email or SMS/MMS message that is seemingly from Efficiency Manitoba asking for personal information, please do not respond before first contacting us to verify authenticity. If you have any questions at any time about how your personal information is handled, please contact us at energyteam@efficiencyMB.ca. If you decide that you no longer wish to receive email or SMS/MMS message from us, simply unsubscribe from all mailing lists.
3.1 Efficiency Manitoba does not accept any liability of any kind arising in any way out of the use of any content disclosed or available on the virtual energy review, or any liability arising out of reliance by you or any third party upon any such content. Should you or any third-party use or rely on any such virtual energy review content, you and they do so entirely at their own risk.
3.2 Efficiency Manitoba does not provide any warranties or guarantees, whether express or implied, for the use of any product, retrofit or process, nor does it assume any liability therefore and it is your responsibility to perform any due diligence you deem appropriate with respect to any services you are contracting for.
3.3 Efficiency Manitoba is not the developer of the virtual energy review and makes no representation or warranty, express or implied, as to the fitness, quality of design practices or capability of the virtual energy review or its use.
3.4 The Customer hereby indemnifies and saves harmless Efficiency Manitoba, its directors, officers, agents, and employees from all damages, expenses, and costs for injury or death of any person, damage to or destruction of property, and all economic loss suffered by any person caused by the use of the virtual energy review.
3.5 Efficiency Manitoba and its agents are not responsible for any problems of a technical nature related to or resulting from the use of the virtual energy review, including any errors, defects, interruptions or corruptions, or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, and Efficiency Manitoba shall not be responsible for any damage to your or any other person’s computer or computing network related to or resulting from use of the virtual energy review, including downloading any materials to or from the virtual energy review.
3.6 The virtual energy review may contain links to websites operated by parties other than Efficiency Manitoba. Such links are provided for reference only and Efficiency Manitoba does not control such websites and is not responsible for their contents. Efficiency Manitoba’s inclusion of links to such websites does not imply any endorsement of the material on such websites or any association with their operators.

Provide us with information on your energy savings project.
We’ve partnered with Ecofitt to help you plan your lighting upgrade. An Ecofitt technician will meet with you to install basic upgrades at no cost to you and conduct an assessment for relevant premium upgrades.
Once your project has been approved, we’ll work with you and a local sub-contractor to install the new energy-efficient lighting. Efficiency Manitoba will cover 100% of the total cost of your lighting project, including materials and installation.
