ENERGUIDE HOME EVALUATION REBATE

COMPLETE A PRE-RETROFIT ENERGUIDE EVALUATION & GET A REBATE

A pre-retrofit EnerGuide evaluation helps you understand how your home uses energy and identifies opportunities to make your home more comfortable and save money on your energy bills. We’ll give you a $400 rebate when you complete a pre-retrofit EnerGuide evaluation.

BENEFITS OF A PRE-RETROFIT ENERGUIDE EVALUATION

There are many benefits to completing a pre-retrofit EnerGuide Evaluation:

  • It helps you understand your home’s energy use and how your home compares to a typical new home.
  • It provides verified information about your home’s building envelope and mechanical systems. This includes the performance of your home’s air tightness, insulation, windows, exterior doors, heating and cooling systems, and more.
  • It provides personalized recommendations to make your home more energy efficient and estimates the energy savings of each upgrade.

Steps to Participate

  1. CHECK TO SEE IF YOU QUALIFY

Read the eligibility information to see if you qualify for a rebate.

You may qualify for a free EnerGuide evaluation through one of our income-based or Indigenous offers. Check if you’re eligible through our Energy Efficiency Assistance Program, Métis Energy Efficiency Offers, or First Nations Energy Efficiency Program.

  2. SCHEDULE A PRE-RETROFIT ENERGUIDE EVALUATION

Contact a service organization that offers EnerGuide evaluations for existing homes. They’ll send an energy advisor to conduct a pre-retrofit EnerGuide evaluation of your home.

  3. REVIEW YOUR PRE-RETROFIT ENERGUIDE EVALUATION REPORTS
