ANNOUNCING THE BUILDING ENVELOPE DESIGN COMPETITION AWARDS EVENING!

We’re thrilled to celebrate the participants of the Building Envelope Design Competition! This initiative showcases innovative approaches to improving building envelopes with a focus on energy efficiency, durability, and sustainability. As our climate changes, it’s essential to ensure that building envelopes can withstand these evolving environmental challenges.

This competition, organized in collaboration with the City of Winnipeg, Sustainable Buildings Manitoba, Efficiency Manitoba, Construction Specifications Canada (CSC) – Winnipeg Chapter, and the Building Efficiency Technology Access Centre (BETAC), highlighted creativity and expertise in designing envelopes for new buildings. Participants created designs for a theoretical addition to an existing community space, meeting Tier 3 of the 2024 Manitoba Building Code.

The winners of the competition will be announced during the awards ceremony at the event. We also extend our heartfelt congratulations to all participants for their outstanding efforts. Your innovative ideas and dedication to improving building performance demonstrate the potential for impactful change in our industry.
