ENERGY EFFICIENCY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
We make it easy for you to find a contractor to perform your energy efficiency upgrade!
We work with contractors that have been approved to do insulation and furnace upgrades through the Energy Efficiency Assistance Program. Only Energy Efficiency Assistance Program registered contractors can perform furnace or insulation upgrades under this program.
Insulation Contractors
Our insulation contractors are experienced in performing insulation upgrades, including draft proofing and insulating eligible attics, walls, and foundations. Each contractor has been approved to do work specifically for the Energy Efficiency Assistance Program.
We work directly with the contractor that you choose from our database to make sure you get the most energy-efficient upgrade and payment is taken care of.

Furnace Contractors
Our furnace contractors are pre-qualified to do furnace upgrades through the Energy Efficiency Assistance Program. All furnaces installed through this program are guaranteed to meet the highest energy efficiency ratings.
We work directly with the contractor that you choose from our database to make sure you get the most energy efficient upgrade and payment is taken care of. This includes completing the paperwork for the $9.50 or $25 per month payment to be added to your Manitoba Hydro bill.

Becoming a Registered Contractor
We periodically accept furnace and insulation contractors into the program. Occasionally, we look for additional contractors in select parts of the province.
To become a participating contractor with the program, there is a tendered pre-qualification process.
