APPLIANCE RECYCLING PROGRAM

Coming APRIL 2021!

If you have an old, energy-guzzling fridge or freezer, we can take it off your hands. We’ll haul it away for free, recycle it, and give you a $30 rebate for each qualifying appliance. You’ll save on your energy bills and feel good knowing your old appliance will be recycled responsibly.

We also offer free pick-up for dehumidifiers, window air conditioners, bar fridges, and bar freezers when paired with an eligible full-sized fridge or freezer. Even though they’re not eligible for a $30 rebate, you’ll still benefit from free pick-up and recycling.

Our phone line and online booking system will open up in April 2021. We’ll update this web page with more details on launch day!

DO YOU AND YOUR APPLIANCE QUALIFY?

• Your fridge/freezer is at least 20 years old and 10 cubic feet or larger.
• Your appliance is in working condition and capable of cooling.
• Your appliance is in a residential single-family property or condo (seasonal properties, apartments, and businesses don’t qualify).
• You’re a homeowner in Manitoba.
• You’re over the age of 18 and own the appliance being recycled.
